What is a Safety Statement?

A Safety Statement is a written programme securing the safety, health and welfare of your employees. Under section 20 of the 2005 Act it must be based on a risk assessment, specific to your workplace, brought to the attention of employees, and reviewed as needed (at least annually or when things change). The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is the enforcing body โ€” always check hsa.ie for the latest guidance.

Keep it live, not in a drawer

A printed statement goes out of date fast. Complys keeps your Safety Statement, risk assessments, staff training and certificates current and audit-ready for HSA inspections โ€” for trades and every sector.
